Lands End was a day trip we did from St Ives. Lands End is mainland Britain's most south-westerly point and has spectacular views from the 200 foot high granite cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and where you can see the Longships Lighthouse. Lands End to John O'Groats is a popular 1400k drive, SW to NE. Walking along the cliff top you can also visit Greeb Farm a restored 200 year old Cornish farmstead which has a range of animals you can see. We had our photo taken with the famous Lands End sign post and others with wonderful views in the background. We strolled through the shopping village and purchased souvenir fridge magnets.
