We got to Stonehenge which is located on England's Salisbury Plain late in the afternoon due to traffic jams and detours on the freeway down. Stonehenge could be the worlds most prehistoric monument dating back to 2500 BC. and Steve and I chose to do the full on tour here. Vicki and Bryan had been here before and decided to wait in the gift shop and car park for us.
The tour took us to the site on the visitor shuttle and we had an informative audio guide to listen to as we walked around the perimeter. This world heritage sites true purpose is still a mystery today and quite eerie but definitely worth a visit.
