This morning we drove to Plymouth to see the harbour where the HMS Agincourt had left for South Australia with Isaac and Elizabeth Steer. There is so much history attached to this one harbour. It was very interesting strolling around. We found a most magical tea room in a 500 year old building. Mum and Dad had a pasty, Aunty Jean had Crab Bisque and Merady had a Ploughman’s Lunch. We washed it all down with tea in sweet little china tea cups. This tea room existed at the time Isaac and Elizabeth left, and we wondered if they had also dined here...
On our way home we had a look at Okehampton Castle ruins. We

On our way home we had a look at Okehampton Castle ruins. We
chose not to pay the fee to walk around as it was rather steep and slippery with the wet weather.
