This morning it was up early and packing, ready to go to the airport. We were all rather surprised to find our airport transfer taxi waiting for us outside – a black Mercedes. Feeling rather fancy, we settled in to our final experience of Parisian traffic on our way to Charles de Gaulle. At the airport we found more Australians and friendly French people to chat with.

After a long flight to Singapore we caught a taxi into the city to the Carlton Hotel where the olds would spend the night taking in the Botanical Gardens and sights of Singapore. A shower and a sleep was the first thing to be done. In the afternoon Merady left to travel back to the airport and home, ready fro work the next day. It was the end of our tour together and it was all a little sad. We have had quite a trip!
