Family History Tour 2016

Today has been a rest day. Mum is not feeling so well with a head cold and the weather is miserable so we kept quiet today.

We drove to Crawley to do some washing and find a bank. The ATM gave me 400 pounds in 10 pound notes. Forty 10 pound notes is too thick for anything!

We had a late lunch in a classic caf. Mum and Dad had a toasted sandwich and Merady had the biggest jacket potato from the paddock.

Back at the hotel we had another Vegemite sandwich tea. The carillonneurs (bell ringers) from the Church of St Peter and St Paul had a lovely time as they seemed to ring for at least an hour. And then we were off to bed early, ready to go to the airport to collect Aunty Jean in the morning.
