Alaska RV Trip

We left the group in Dawson City and began to make our way south. Although we fought the weather all day, we had a lovely drive. We stopped for the night just outside the East Gate of Jasper National Park. We woke to sunshine (finally) and were off to drive the entire length of the Icefields Parkway. Words can’t describe just how gorgeous it was. We stopped at countless pullouts because each view was more beautiful than the one before it. The Canadian Rockies are breathtaking (and we saw a bear too). Once we arrived in Lake Louise the rain began again and followed us into Canmore where we settled in for the night. Unfortunately, as I was making my way out of the trailer, I slipped on the last step and took a nasty fall. Off to the ER we went where x-rays confirmed that I broke my left foot. HUGE BUMMER! With crutches and a boot, we began to make our way home.
