Alaska RV Trip

Today was a long day of driving across the Nevada desert in 100+ degrees. Once we arrived in Winnemucca, we realized the fridge was not working (again). It was late Saturday afternoon, and we frantically called every rv dealer/repair place we could find in the area and beyond. No luck. We did manage to get a hold of an old mechanic in Winnemucca that came to the RV park at 7. We were hoping for a miracle, but he couldn't fix the problem either. After paying him $40 along with a huge bag of partially frozen Costco chicken, he left us. We decided that we only had one option....to head home in the morning and see if our dealer could figure out the issue and solve it so that we could get back on the road.
