Alaska RV Trip

Canmore was still a long way from home. And we had to figure out a new routine with me out of commission. In our perfect RV World John took care of the outside (setting up, taking down) and I handled everything on the inside (cleaning up, putting away). Somehow we managed (with John doing EVERYTHING). After crossing the border, we drove many miles each day, with our first stop in Naples, Idaho, then Baker City, Oregon and finally back to our very first stop before the fridge gave out, Winnemucca, Nevada and then home. Over 9000 miles later, we had come full circle. It was not the ending we imagined, but now we have an excuse to go back and finish up with the Canadian Rockies next year. Travel, like life, is full of the unexpected. Good or bad, it’s part of the journey.
