We drove from Orlando to Miami in our rental car. Mark did an amazing job of driving on the right hand side of the road and my job was to navigate, with only a few wrong turns I think I did a great job too.
It was an easy drive as 160 miles of the 220 was on the motorway and we made it Miami in just under 5 hours.
Our hotel was beautiful and was only one street back from the beach, it even had a rooftop pool! The weather was amazing in Miami but we found the south beach to have a very superficial vibe and there were a lot of shameless selfies happening everywhere! We loved the Cuban food and found the locals extremely friendly.
On our drive back to Orlando we stopped at little Havana We had an amazing ice cream there and stumbled upon Domino park which is full of oldies playing dominos. It was hilarious hearing them trash talk each other and place bets on their games, I even got told off by one for filming.
We also stopped at Wynwood Walls which showcases some amazing street art and has given life to the neighbourhood again (see the stories behind it in my photos)
