We stayed in a suburb called Miraflores in Lima. It was very touristy but also meant it was safe and we could walk around freely at night as some parts of Lima can be dangerous. There isnt a lot to do in Lima except eat and explore the old town. We joined a walking tour of the historic center but didnt enjoy it as much as the other walking tours. We ate some great food in Lima. We found a delicious sandwich bar which also made incredible hot chips and frozen passion fruit drinks. We also found a delicious Indian restaurant just down the road from our hostel which was a welcomed change, as good Indian food is hard to come by in SA.
