First impressions...
Eclectic! Many homeless people, rampant marijuana, weed 'doctors' in green scrubs, the smell of urine everywhere!
On further examination...
A vibrant pier with vendors selling touristy nic nacs, hip hop dancers, an old man that should not have had a microphone and a hilarious, topless, singing dancer showing us his best (and unique) moves to 'California, knows how to party'.
Along the foreshore there were impressively fit looking people working out on pull up bars, some interesting acrobatics on swinging trapeze rings and group gymnastics activities as far as the eye could see.
We ate at the pub under our hostel for dinner and I was so exhausted I feel asleep on the couch mid grid iron game.
Final thoughts...
The long stretches of sand and water, and the pier and ferris wheel made for a pretty backdrop BUT get us out of here!
