As the what seems to be the longest day possible, the last stop before dinner was none other than Notre Dame itself. Just walking towards this breath taking structure, you could see the beauty that capture most people and that beauty got hold of my attention. These are one of those buildings that one may think they will only get to see on a postcard or a poster or a photo but I was finally getting to see it up close and personal. Who knew that something built so long ago could maintain its condition to remain such a vital structure and landmark for a country. Now a days from time to time we hear of buildings collapsing that were recently built and sometimes one may ask how structures such as Notre Dame that were built hundreds of years ago still stand when back then they had less knowledge of things than the people building and constructing things to this day.
