Upon arriving in Paris on May 10th, I had not slept a single bit on the plane ride over that was roughly eight hours. As we all stepped off the plane, we boarded a bus that drove us to the main part of the airport. As we all filed through customs and met on the other side we were welcomed by our guide for the week. As she introduced herself to everyone and handed out the itinerary for the week all of us were just stoked to begin our adventure into a foreign country. Shortly after boarding the bus and leaving to go towards our hotel, I soon noticed how many times we passed a soccer pitch or even a stadium. Through the trees in the picture to the right is a soccer pitch I found from the bus. With soccer being a passion of mine, every time I was to pass a pitch or stadium I had to look in astonishment for the simple fact that in Europe it is their main sport and in the United States it is slowly growing. For those in Europe it is a passion that most grow up in and is a big part of the culture in that most are die hard fans and the support is so rich in passion that no matter where you go, you feel as if you are at the game.
