Hearing that we would be visiting the Sacre Coeur hit me right in the heart and instantly meant a lot to me. The reason for this is that upon the steps in front of the beautiful church is where my dad proposed to my mom. To be able to be in the same area where my parents got engaged many years before was a special trip and moment for me. Maybe one day I can make it more of a tradition and do the same. The beauty of the church itself was captivating as you could see the entirety of Paris from standing in front of the church. Around the corner there were small shops selling art and souvenirs. After exploring the area of Montmartre we all went to dinner to have our final dinner of the trip. This was probably the best meal of the entire trip. We had a three course meal with salad to begin the night followed with steak and potatoes. The potatoes were out of this world and the steak wasn't to bad itself. We finished the dinner with a chocolate lava cake and the warm gooey inside was to die for. Me and a few others left a little earlier to make our way to the PSG game taking place at the Parc des Princes. The day wasn't over it was only getting better.
