Tomorrow will be the day that I travel to Bangalore. This is the third most populated city in India where I will be living for 4 months. The reason that I got this opportunity is that I will be doing my minor International Sustainable Development Cooperation in Bangalore. I'm going to work at the Centre for Social Action (CSA) which is a subdivision from the Christ University. CSA is a organisation that focuses on improving the lives of people who live in the slums. Since I'm a Communication & Multimedia Design student, I will be working on a website for the joint project from CSA and the HAN called LR Nagar. LR Nagar is a slum in Bangalore where the CSA runs different projects aimed to help the poor and improve their live conditions.
I'm really looking forward to my placement abroad and hope to learn a lot about the Indian culture and the people. I hope to keep everybody who is interested in my adventure abroad updated through this blog.
