Summer Travel 2015

So - it's over, and we are now safely back home. We had a wonderful trip with fabulous weather, except for the 2nd and 2nd to last day. Janet and I will take some wonderful memories with us of Alaska, British Columbia, and other spots that we visited all across North America. We have been asked often if we would do it again, and the answer is - Yes. Even though we drove some 3900 miles and spent who knows how much on gas, it was such a pleasure to meet so many people, visit so many places, and just experience God's wonderful creation in such a unique way.

Now we will try and unwind a little and prepare for the rest of the summer. Still this month we will be visiting my mom in Austin, and our son Chad and his family in Seattle. In July we will be camping with our oldest son Steve and his family, starting probably in the Smoky Mountains and then heading north into Wisconsin and up into Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Stay tuned, I'll be adding some chapters as I continue with my summer diary. Meanwhile, here are a few pictures to help us all remember this great county we live in.
