Deb & Rash Sahota's 2 Years in Edinburgh
Today explored the East Coast, lovely sunny day for a drive. Travelled to South Queensferry & stopped to look at the three bridges crossing the River Forth. One bridge for trains, the old bridge for cars & a new bridge for cars once its finished. Nice little village, plenty of cafes and ice cream shops.
Crossed the old car bridge followed coastal route through Dalgety Bay & onto Aberdour to Silver Sands Beach. A lovely cove of sandy beach serving good food at the cafe on the front. Enjoyed the view of the off the coast oil rig. Lots of people making the most of the great weather sunbathing on the beach.
Continued on coastal route to Kingshorn, walked down the pathway on the side of cliff to rocky beach below to the small harbour, looked for sea lions.
Onto a very small village West Wemyss a pretty small harbour & conservation area not a lot else though apart from a few houses.
Faster journey back via main route of A92 to M90 and then A90 back across the Forth Road Bridge and then onward home again.
