Deb & Rash Sahota's 2 Years in Edinburgh
Rash was going to Texas for the week on business so decided it would be a good idea for me to join him for the weekend. He flew out on the Tuesday and l joined him on Thursday. Spent the evening wining and dining in some very nice restaurants. Stayed in Four Seasons Hotel next to Lady Bird Lake.
Friday Rash went off to work whilst l entertained myself by having a nice walk around the lake followed by a swim and sunbathing. In evening we joined up with Alan Hughes for a lovely meal.
Saturday spent lazing around the pool and chilling out. Drinks and Mexican meal in evening whist taking in some of the live bands.
Sunday took a taxi to shopping mall. Taxi very expensive even more so as we never purchased anything at the shops. Came back and went swimming.
Monday work for Rash, l went for a nice breakfast by the lake but was hassled by birds who stole my bacon and jumped on my shoulder. I got moved inside hotel to eat in peace. Grabbed last bit of sun before my flight home. Nice break but probably my last trip to Austin.
