Deb & Rash Sahota's 2 Years in Edinburgh
Rash was in Austin for Innovation Conference and Quarterly Strategic Review so was a good opportunity for me to go out a few days later and join him for a few days in the sun.
Things did not go as planned and the weather was only really nice on the second day when Rash was at work and l had a relaxing day by the pool at the Westin Downtown Chicago Hotel, I got very burnt. After that the weather got worse and there were lots of heavy showers although it was still hot.
We did manage a couple of nice walks around Lady Bird Lake which is part of the Colorado River and a boat trip down the river.
This trip was more successful then the last visit as too seeing the bats from the bridge. Thousands of bats did appear as the evening reached dusk, it was like a huge dark cloud in the sky.
