The Opportunist Traveler

This was our second time to Hong Kong to watch the Hong Kong 7's
so we knew what to expect. We got onto our Tigerair flight on Friday
afternoon and headed off to Hong Kong. Sat next to us on the plane
was a stag do. Even before we had taken off they were asking for
beers. The stag was dressed in a Singapore Airlines uniform and was
made to do dares. One of the dares was to ask a girl on the plane to
paint his face with make-up, it didn't take long for them to find
someone. The plane ride was hilarious with everyone drinking and chatting. It took the air stewardesses around 30 minutes just to get everyone to sit down for landing. As soon as we landed we were
straight through immigration and on the train into the city. As we were checking into our hotel the Ibis Hong Kong Central & Sheung Wan Hotel we saw the stag do guys again.
The next morning we grabbed breakfast at the restaurant Classified
on Hollywood road. We had a delicious almond croissant and coffee and then went to meet my cousin Katherine in Soho. We found my
cousin and her friend and jumped in a cab to the Happy Valley
Football club where we were meeting more of my cousins friends for
lunch. We wolfed down a burger and then walked to the stadium to
watch the Hong Kong 7's rugby. The weather was boiling and there were already a few people who were flagging by the time we got there.
Everyone was dressed in fancy dress and the atmosphere was great.
After the rugby was over we headed to a pub in Happy Valley to have
some dinner and more drinks before ending up at the infamous Lan
Kai Fong.
The next day we met my cousin at the restaurant called Oolaa on
Hollywood road for brunch. The poor staff had to throw a party out as

one of the guests threw water on the manager. We were sat next door
and it made our brunch pretty entertaining. After brunch we did
some shopping before hopping back on a plane to Singapore.
