Tripping 2019
Time for an adult meal and a change of pace at the local family run Laguna, a Croatian restaurant, where Tim, Karen, Barry, Jess, Jane and Chris escaped for a couple of hours. Delightful waiter practicing his English fell over backwards trying to please us, but as with last night’s waiter who though ‘port’ meant toilet, this one couldn’t get the concept of port either. Having two dud attempts he gave us a Croatian treat for free to apologise for the two wrong attempts, assuring us it was good for settling your stomach after a meal - probably because it kills your stomach and taste buds on the way down and is capable of stripping paint off furniture. The food was great, especially the desserts!
