Tripping 2019
Pleasant Flexibus 4.5 hour trip to Goteborg with endless cropping the entire 292k, few livestock seen and only in small herds of a dozen or so. Travelled over the first of the amazing road bridges we’ll encounter this trip and through an undersea tunnel. Roadwork delays meant an hour long crawl through Goteborg’s rush hour. Friendly English speaking taxi driver drove 6.5k to cover 2.6k to our non-Airbnb (“if anyone asks, tell them you are my friends visiting”) = cheeky bugger. We’ll walk to catch tomorrow’s bus. K&T’s bedroom is a quaint loft cupboard that humans can’t stand up in, became a sweat box overnight so all up before 5am. Passport mystery solved - found in rental car back in Germany and will beat me back to NZ.
