Tripping 2019
Yay two nights in one place at Randi’s lovely Airbnb, the best and most expensive so far, but with loads of room, great facilities and views, except only piping hot water from shower nozzle. Stranda reminds us of Picton back before they revitalised it - existing to service the ferries and otherwise pretty dead. Especially Sundays as the shops and supermarkets still close here = some creative cooking by Karen to scratch up a rather lovely dinner using the moose salami we bought from a food truck on the way through Valldal earlier in the day.
Flora grows turbo style here, we assume due to the short growing season, with buttercups as high as our knees.

TOMORROW’S PLANNING MAP: except we will follow the blue snakelike line across the bottom as we ferry our way through the Geirangerfjord = bring it on! Pronounced gee-ranga-ford.
