It's Jared & Jamille's 30th birthday and time to celebrate. Deciding on a pool party as the way to do it in style, Mum splashes out and hires us a private cabana. Despite the name, pool parties seem to be less about the pool and more about acting like rock stars. The music is loud and the pool is tiny but we do get in at some point to play volleyball.

We all drink very strong vodkas from the most expensive bottle I have ever partaken in, served by our private hostess from Hawaii. This is followed by champagne and then Jared orders another bottle of vodka. I think you know where this story is headed.

Jamille and I don't make it past 6pm and somehow make it back to our room while Mum, being made of sterner stuff than us, goes out to hit the casinos with Jared & Coral. An older gentleman takes a shine to Mum and says he wants to take her to Arizona on his private jet. He claims he was an advisor to Bill Clinton and a man hovering in the background appears to be his bodyguard or assistant. Jared, the second eldest son and tasked with the job of making sure Mum makes it back safely at the end of the night, is torn: Should he step up and tell this stranger to stay away from his dear old mum or say, "you go girl, we'd love a ride in a private jet"? Mum takes matters into her own hands and ignores the poor man in favour of gambling.
