It's our last day in Vegas and a good thing we are leaving - I think I need to check into a Betty Ford clinic. As we get an uber to the airport, we pass a cordoned off crime scene at a seedy motel next to a liquor store. There must have been at least 10 police cars in attendance and our necks are strained trying to check it out. Just another day in Vegas though apparently. Our uber drivers have been real personalities and this one is no different. She assures us that we will lurve Louisiana and Mississippi where the men will call us 'baaaby'. No stuff ups with the plane this time.

Checking into to our New Orleans hotel about 1.30am, we decide to visit a hole in the wall bar in a side street near our hotel. It's dark and good music is playing. A round shaped bar with stools lets you talk to locals and the barman. I order an Old Fashioned and decide I'm going to like New Orleans.
