Asia

We arrived in Delat with the American girl, Cara, who we had met in Saigon, and checked into a hostel. The owners of the hostel were the nicest people we had met on the trip and helped us with everything they could.
On our first day we rented bikes and drove to the elephant waterfall. It was a long ride and I had Henry as a passenger as he wasn't feeling up to it with all the medication he was on. When we arrived though we knew it had been worth it. The falls were incredible and there was even a cave we found behind that let you go under it. We stripped off and felt the full power of the spray as we got as close as we dared to the water. We left to find an angry Vietnamese man had locked us in because we had gone 30 minutes over the closing time.

Delat

After paying small fine we rode a scared 2 hours back in the dark.
The next day was one of the most fun we had had so far during our travels. We went canyoning with a group from the hostel with a crazy Vietnamese leader. We abseiled down waterfalls, jumped of 10m rocks and just had an amazing time. We also met two irish guys who told us they had some motorbikes for sale. That evening me and Henry had a chat, took the bikes for a ride, and bought them for 210 dollars a piece. I spent the next day teaching Henry how to ride a manual bike to get ready for our first trip to Nha Trang.
Unfortunately Henry woke up the next day feeling even worse and decided to head back to Ho Chi Minh for more treatment. This left us with two bikes we didn't know what to do with. After much debating we ended up leaving a bike at the hostel, which the owners were going to try to sell for us, and I took the other bike to Nha Trang with Cara. We said our goodbyes to Henry and we started our first ride.
