Asia

I stayed at Pai circus in Pai as it had been recommended to me by a few people I had met. After climbing the hill to get there I saw what a cool place this was. There was an infinity pool, a bar, a open hut with music and pool table and circus lessons going on on the grass, all over an amazing view of Pai.

I didn't really do much in Pai as I had been on the go for a good two weeks. I tried out the street food, including a deep fried sandwich. It sounded amazing but tasted fucking gross. After that I stuck to the fried rice I had found in this cute little local restaurant. Everyone in Pai was really chilled and I met some cool people. There was a beatboxer who was staying at the same hostel as me. He gave us a free show, which was sick, and I chilled with him and his friends for the few days I was there. We all went tubing one day, around 30 of us, with a bottle of our chosen drink each. I made up a Pina colada which did me great. Of course it was great fun and we all got happily drunk.

I was kept up one night by some aggressive sex in the bunk next to me, but thankfully they moved on the night after. I also bumped into Bonnie Middleton, a girl I know from Wales, which was a massive coincidence. I went for some drinks with her and her friends and we had a nice chat and catch up.

I was sad that this was my final stop in Asia as I would have loved at least another month there. Even so I had loved Asia more than I ever thought I would and couldn't wait to go back already. I caught a bus to Bangkok which arrived at 5am. I met a girl on the bus and we spent the day together shopping, eating and getting a Tai massage. I said goodbye, headed to the airport and that was continent 1 over!!
