We arrived in Ho Chi Minh and again got scammed. We took a taxi to the hostel with some girls, not realising the hostel was 200m away. He took us on a massive loop with a ridiculous meter that was like 25 dollars. We got a bit angry and eventually paid about 10. In the end it wasn't so bad because the girls we shared the taxi with were really nice and we spent the next few days with them.

It was nice in Ho Chi Minh because a lot of the main attractions were walking distance so we didn't need to get ripped off by taxis again. We visited the Ho Chi Minh museum, the Palace and the War museum. The war museum was

It was nice in Ho Chi Minh because a lot of the main attractions were walking distance so we didn't need to get ripped off by taxis again. We visited the Ho Chi Minh museum, the Palace and the War museum. The war museum was

unbelievable and very well done. Obviously it was heavily from Veitnams point of view and told the war from the communist side. There was a large gallery of war pictures, indervidual stories and lots of memorabilia and artefacts. I could have spent a lot longer there but we only had an hour and a half before closing.

That night we got really drunk playing continueous drinking games and ended up losing Henry for half an hour. He eventually reappeared but soon realised his phone had been nicked which put a slight dampener on the night.

The next two days we took tours with Cara and Pluone (the girls we shard a taxi with) to the Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong delta. Both were great tours and well worth the money. The tunnels gave us a great insight to another part of war and the genius tactics of some of the Vietnamese. The mekong

delta was just a great day in all with beautiful scenery, nice food and a few fun activities.

Henry had begun to feel ill again so we got him another consultation with the doctor. After the initial scare of the doctor saying he may have HIV, he was told he had two infections and was prescribed another load of drugs. We caught another bus that evening to our next stop, De lat.
