Off to Chicago, we left around 9:00 per Clint's suggestion to miss the heavy Detroit traffic and hit Chicago during the mid afternoon. The plan worked perfectly, a beautiful driving day and we drove into downtown Chicago to very light traffic around 2:30. We checked in to our Hotel and went out to see the city. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the Navy Pier, the River district and walked over 16000 steps for the day, we saw a lot in our short time in the city. The weather could not have been more perfect for a day of seeing the sites!
A wonderful dinner on the Pier, and a nightcap at the Hard Rock Café, a fun day.
