though we were in the mountain the temperatures were near 100 degrees. On the way out of the National Forest we stopped at Elk View Lodge in Dayton WY for lunch, one of 3 large lodges in the area with the same owners, geared to hunting, 4 wheel recreation and snowmobiles. Shortly after we reached route 90 and set the cruise at 90 and headed east. Late in the afternoon we visited The Devils Tower National Monument which was only about 20 miles from where we would end the day at Sundance.
