Just beginning

I have been home for about 3 weeks. The first week was a blur with jet lag and a horrible case of hives. I had a phone cal with Eddie and Greta to continue processing all the experiences. I am committed to starting an organization to support CMI, as E&G are.
I started researching starting a 501(c)3. Finding a name really is the first step! I have been writing and brainstorming by-laws and considering where we base this organization- it has to be registered with a state. I am going to Minnesota at the end of February so we can do some planing in person. I am really excited about being with Eddie and Greta! I did -only half jokingly- say that I was going have to go in on building a compound with them on their land. It’s too expensive to stay at the guest house for a longer period.
I am thankful that my job in the States is going well and allows for the mental space to delay the groundwork. I am glad to be home doing that but also long

to be in Liberia. But I really don’t have a long term reason to be there right now. I am supposed to be here. I love talking about my experiences with people and am touched when people want to know details.
As we move into
the next phase of our planning, we won’t use this format to update this who are interested. We would love you to walk alongside us on this journey, whatever that looks like.
