Oh the places you'll go!

It takes this time to see all there is to see.

Research the bus trips on line and examine their itineraries, then pick the things you want to see and note their timetable. There are some things you won’t want to do and some of their stops don’t allow enough time.

Set your tour to fit what you need and can manage with regard to the accommodation you book and then drive yourself in a rental car. Fly to Melbourne and Ferry overnight to Tasmania.

Having said this there is a lot of satisfaction in a fully catered coach trip with transport, accommodation, food and entry fees included for a more relaxing trip.

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR TRIP

Cradle Mountain, Gordon River Cruise, Mount Wellington, Salamanca Markets, Peppermint Bay Cruise, Murals at Bicheno, Penguin Tour, The Ship that never was, Beaconsfield Mine, The Wall wood carvings, Platypus & Echidna, Boags Brewery, Cataract Gorge, Sarah Island and anatomy lessons at MONA.

These are the highlights of our trip which was 18 days in Tassie and we didn’t see everything or spend enough time at some, allow at least a full day and night at Port Arthur.
