After the Acropolis we passed by Mars Hill on our way to visit the Roman Agora and it's Tower of the Winds. It's much smaller than the Ancient Agora. We wound through narrow streets to Hadrian's Library, which was very impressive. Even the bathroom had part of his wall in it. George had suggested dessert at Nancy's Sweet Home so we gave that a try. Cyndi's strawberry sorbet was a winner. Finally we headed out to the National Archaeological Museum and listened to a great Rick Steves tour for the highlights. It was interesting to see how the art progressed from crude to life-like.

Left: George called the Theater of Dionysus a "Wiccan" Theater. Finally we figured out he was saying people would visit it on the weekend.
