We had a great e-bike tour with George! We started at Pynx Hill, where the Athenians gathered to vote and conduct business. We then rode to Areopagus Hill (place of judgement that Paul preached to thinkers of the day Acts 17:16-34). It's also called Mars Hill. We saw Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Zeus (both built by Hadrian). We even saw the changing of the guard at their "tomb of the unknown solder." Very symbolic movements, pom poms on their shoes, even 400 pleats in their skirt to represent the 400 years they were occupied by the Turks. Spent a little time at the Panathenaic Stadium, made of marble, and host of the first modern Olympics.
