Spontaneously, we decided to see if we could climb the Acrocorinth. After a slightly nerve wrecking drive up, we were able to hike into the Acrocorinth. Instead of going to the main ruins, the fort, we decided to hike to the view (the highest point). We could see the Temple of Apollo, a great view of the water, and the evidence of the location of the canal. There were lots of wildflowers along the way as well as bees. The boys would have freaked out! It was a beautiful climb but I should have worn my tennis shoes.
