Doge's Palace
audio tour - which you can pay E5 for - closes at 5pm in the summer and we arrived after that. Last entrance in the summer is at 6 (closes at 7)

Visiting Murrano, Torcello & Burano

Catch the first vaporetta around 10 am , Route 7 from San Marco Zaccaria and got off at Faro stop on Murano (about 30 minutes travel ) Spend around 2 hts here
Catch Route 12 from Faro to Torcello (about 30 mins) and spent about an hour at Torcello.
Catch the same route back to Burano (about 5 mins), Spend 2 hrs here
Back: Catch Route 14 back to S Marco Zaccaria and it was about a 70 min trip.
