you can walk to the beache and town centre, which will take approximately 15-20min via the main roads. There are stairs which take you down and up directly to the hotel but they are a bit of hike and 500 of them.

INTERNO POSITANO bus service (or something like that) which is cheap and picks up and drops off right outside the hotel. They run every 30 mins. Between 11.00 and 12.00 (midnight) the buses run every 15 mins which means that coming back to your hotel after a meal in the evening is never a problem.
