From Naples to Pompeii Scavi also known as "Villa dei Misteri"
One needs to take Circumvesuviana train. Go up one level to find the ticket counter for the CIRCUMVESUVIANA Train. Head toward the train station's main exit, but just before you get there, look to the left for stairs leading down. Follow "Circumvesuviana" signs, but partway along the hall stop at the ticket windows on your left to purchase your tickets.
The Circumvesuviana (Napoli Garibaldi) station is located in the basement of Napoli Centrale ( level 3).
Duration : 35 Minutes, (18 stops)
Cost : one-way is 2.80 euros. Cheap day return tickets available to cover Naples to Pompeii And thereon Sorrento
Depart every half hour. Trains are crowded, be prepared to have to stand for much of the journey.
Buy a ticket to pompeii scavi
( take the train with this stop only ) is about 35 minutes .
You have to pay cash, no credit cards.
TIP: consider a day ticket. Unicocampania offers several possibilities.
