I have never tried before a Guinness in my life. I think I have never even had the chance of trying one. I knew it was a type of black beer and I think that was pretty much all I knew about it. I was not aware of how important the Guinness brand was for Irish people. I could be almost sure that I could find a Guinness pretty much everywhere I went. The Guinness name is definitively closely related to the Irish culture. When I tasted it for the first time I was shockingly impressed to find out that I did like it a lot. It had a coffee taste that I found delicious. When we went to the Guinness storehouse, I was thrilled to learn more about an industry that seemed to be of huge importance in Ireland. The Guinness, one of the most successful beer brands worldwide, originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness in Dublin. Its flavor is derived from roasted unmalted barley and its color is actually not black, it is dark ruby red. The Guinness without a doubt plays an important role in the cultural context and economic development of Ireland.
