The Sunday before Christmas we went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park with Dan and Tammy.
Winter Wonderland is a large winter/Christmas themed festival/carnival which runs for 6 weeks from November to the end of the December. It is basically London's version of the European Christmas markets.

We had a fantastic time drinking mulled wine and mead, eating german sausages and toasting marshmallows on the open fires.

Matt also had his first experience with pickpocketing as his Oyster card and rail card were both stolen right out of his jacket pocket. Fortunately he didn't have any credit on either card so no harm was done but it was a reminder to never become complacent about pickpockets!
