We arrived in Harwich on board the Stena Hollandica after our stay in Amsterdam.
We took the train into London and then used the London public transport system for the first time to get from London Liverpool St Station to Hackney.

We stayed in a private room in an Airbnb apartment with our host Susie for our first 10 days in London.
We loved staying in Hackney, it was a great introduction to the multicultural nature of London with a large Caribbean population, and Susie could not have made us feel more welcome and at home.
