Cape Kanapitsa, Skiathos

So, we have nothing too hectic planned for today other than some eatin' and some relaxin'... both of which we actually excel at...!!!

Usual quiet breakfast, Elaine having the hot stuff and me having the cold stuff, we are so becoming creatures of habit. As this is to be a rest and relaxation sort of day, there will be no walking down to that beach for us, ohhh no...!!! It's poolside terrace sunbathing today... and even that required around twenty paces or so to get from our breakfast table to

the sun loungers on the terrace. All so very stressful...!!!

As the sweltering sunshine demands, we fully baste ourselves in Factor 30 before settling down for serious sun worshipping. It's so intense that we can't just lay here all day, Elaine needs regular dips in the pool, while I dip in and out of the shade!

We're dining at Johnny's tonight so don't need a big lunch, and settle for a baguette and fruit before persevering with the sun worship. I have to give in for a bit so go up to the room to cool off for a few minutes, leaving Elaine to guard our loungers...!!! I'm afraid my few minutes turned into quite a lot of minutes as I dozed off while luxuriating in our air conditioning!

I did return to the crucible of fire eventually to find Elaine had

been cornered by our Norwegian friend for most of the time I'd been away. Him, his wife and two daughters are a little strange, apart from their first lunch they had on arrival, they've not all been together for meals or sunbathing once, we've not even seen or heard any of the girls talking to each other...!!! Each to their own I guess.

It will come as no surprise by now that it was a gorgeous evening as we walked down the hill to the restaurant, and we got a lovely friendly greeting when we arrived and were seated at the same table as our first visit. As before, the service was excellent as were our meals. It was funny that we booked our table this time but didn't need to as the place was nowhere near as busy as it was on our first visit, but we weren't to know that. A nice end to a lovely relaxing day.
