Leaving sunny Surfers Paradise, Esteban, Sandra and I took the bus to Brisbane. Rebecca stayed another night in the hostel. But we knew everything was going to change…
Sandra didn’t hop off at Brisbane and went to Rainbow Beach. Esteban and I took the stop in Brisbane, where he had to take his flight back to Sydney. His school was about to start again. So this was the first time since a long time that I was on my own again. As the bus arrived at 11 am, I had to wait to check in until 2 pm. I was able to drop my bags in a luggage store of the hostel, but of course had to pay a little amount to do that. This is taking advantage of people’s money from my point of view. It feels like being punished a little bit because you arrive earlier than 2 pm. But yeah, this is not a worst case scenario and ain’t the end of the world to pay 5 AUD for keeping your luggage.
I decided to explore the city and asked a map at the reception. The lagoon was located in the South Bank of Brisbane, it took around 20 min to get there. It was funny to see, you would not expect a swimming pool and

Day 28 : Brisbane, here we come!

Sandra didn’t hop off at Brisbane and went to Rainbow Beach. Esteban and I took the stop in Brisbane, where he had to take his flight back to Sydney. His school was about to start again. lagoon (a copy of a little beach) in a park. I stayed at the lagoon for a couple of hours and went back to the hostel to check in. Later that evening I skyped with my parents. It was nice to see them again.
