On our Women of Paris tour, our guide led us by a cafe that is famous for being the hot spot for famous writers. Many famous writers such as Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Ernest Hemingway used to go and order food and coffee and continue creating their masterpieces. On our tour we actually went inside to look, but very quickly kicked out for disturbing the customers. After that, we decided that we wanted to come back one day and be able to sit inside and enjoy this famous hotspot. So we did just that. When professor Manghum came to visit we took the opportunity to go back and enjoy it with her. It is such a fancy restaurant/cafe that the only thing we could all really afford was dessert. So we each ordered a different dessert and tried eachother’s. We sat inside and enjoyed our expensive desserts and talked and laughed and had a good time. It was definitely a lot better than the first time when we walked in and then got kicked out. After finishing up our desserts we went outside to snap a few photos for memories then we left and walked around Paris for a bit longer with Professor Manghum before heading back.
