Chapter 4 - Middle Ea —-um European Cruise: Cyprus, Greece and Turkey

On Friday we boarded the Celebrity cruise ship, Apex originally destined for the Middle East, but now going to Cyprus, Greece and Turkey. Our first day, Saturday, was a sea day.

Just WOW!!! Most beautiful and elegant ship we have ever been on cruising. Our Apex level room had a balcony with a

floor-to-ceiling window you could open and close. Also a seperate shade which was powered and an inner door. Just really great!

The ship had many statues and fine touch features which made it very artistic in nature. Plenty of room and never felt crowded. Food is super and the first evening show which was an illusionist was mind boggling.
We were in the third row center and could not figure out how she did it.

Tomorrow we were supposed to be in Haifa to start our first excursion into the Holy Lands. However the tragic happenings in Israel have made travel in Israel impossible for now. Hopefully peace and change will come soon.
