Epilogue

Are we done already?!?!? Wow, what an adventure! Everything under our control went without a hitch. There were a few disappointments that were out of our control but we can honestly say that after more than fifty years of travel we’ve had no prior mishaps. So things just caught up with us a bit.
Maybe when peace is restored we will take a flight to Cairo and Jerusalem. Maybe not. We’ll likely never see Uluru in central Australia thanks to the hired driver who overslept. But the rest of the trip more than made up for it in the sights we saw and the culture we experienced. After our first round-the-world sojourn we asked ourselves “Are we ready to do it again?" And so we did. If we ask that question again our answer would be “well….maybe not around the whole world.” But our days of travel are far from over. As you get a taste of different places the bucket list tends to fill rather than empty.
