My Canadian Adventure

My journey to move across the other side of the world began at 5:15 am (Australian Time), where I woke up and got myself organized. This took about 45 minutes, which then it was time to leave. So packing the car with my two suitcases and my carry on bag, this was a tight squeeze having 4 kids in the car as well. Anyways it was then time to leave, so leaving at 6:30 am, drove almost 2 hours to get to Brisbane International Airport as we needed to be there 3 hours prior to my flight time as the US has increased security measures. This was a long journey and I was becoming very tired but was excited for what lied ahead... We had eventually made it to the airport at about 8:30/8: 45 am and then it was time to check in and drop off my bags. This is when it started to hit me. I was moving away from my family, friends, everyone I knew and I was making a life for myself. This was the scary part but omg I’m so excited just to experience a new part of the world. After dropping my bags off, I had one last breakfast with my parents and siblings before saying goodbye. This became really hard. I witnessed my old man crying. You don’t see that every day. I had eventually said my final goodbyes and I ventured off on my own down to the customs gates and what I thought was going to take a while, actually didn’t take that long so when I made it through it was about 10 am and it was time to just wait for boarding...

I am now on the plane and have been since 11:25 am and it’s currently 5:10 pm as I am writing this and I’ve already watched 3 movies to make time pass and I still have approximately 7hr and 35minutes of my flight left... Time to go have a nap and hopefully be
