My Canadian Adventure

So, I know a lot of you guys are expecting these to be posted daily but I can’t do that so now if I remember I will post daily but other than that I will post once a week so stay focused and look out for the weekly updates.

Christmas is now over which means it was time to get ready for NEW YEARS and bring in 2018 in such a wonderful place, although I will admit I do not remember much about New Years Eve, probably drank more than I should have hah oh wells. Work was crazy up until that whole week, I managed to get 2 days off though and I am glad I did get two days off because holy I needed it aye haha. I only had to work 3 days that week due to it being like Christmas and other staff were wanting time off and our schedule was changed so technically worked 4 and had 3 days off and I found out that Christmas day was penalty rates so bring on that extra cash.

After my working week, the whole 3 days in a row ahah it was time to have my days off and it was a blessing to have them, I slept and skied like the whole days, New years eve day was such a good day for skiing, the snow was powder and it was just a good day aye. After skiing like the whole day, I came home for lunch because aye I’m living a poor lifestyle ahah and after I ate I ended up cleaning our apartment because man it stunk. Yes, mum you read that right, I voluntary cleaned, but aye my roommates liked it and it smelt like new haha. Anyways, it was December 31st and there was only like 8 hours until midnight and 2018 so what better way to end it then getting drunk haha. My original friends bailed on our plans as they had work the next day at like 6am and so they just wanted to relax and have beers and stuff in the apartment, so I ended up finding some of my work friends and I spent new year eve with them until we went to a party and I lost them ahah but aye I made some other friends who lived in my building but I had no idea they did so I just chilled with them until about 3am when I got home. It was such a good evening. I hope everyone else enjoyed their New Year’s Eve and brought the new year in with style! I was so glad I had the next day off as I was exhausted, and I slept for like 2 hours before going skiing to try and recover from my extreme hangover haha and what a good decision that was because I slept for like a solid 15 hours after that.

After the excitement of New Years, it was then time to get back to work which I have worked only two days so far and they have been busy but also, they have been super chilled and its making me nervous because are we about to get busier or what’s going to happen haha but apparently it starts to die down in late Feb early March as the mountain is slowly closing for April when it officially closes for the season.

My week hasn’t been that exciting, but it is honestly so much fun, and I would change a thing to be honest.

Miss, you all
