When we first thought of undertaking this trip, we said to ourselves that we had better do it earlier rather than later, before we were too old.
When it comes to camping, it seems we might have been about five decades too late. For camping is a form of pastime suitable only for children prior to the age of speech, for once they are old enough to
voice their horror at this Sisyphic torture of unpacking it all every evening, only to have to repack it all the next morning, there is --- alas --- no going back to that erstwhile innocence.

Accommodations:
- The Farmhouse Restaurant and B&B (3 nights; the rooms were nice and large, but the restaurant service was incomprehensibly slow)
