(Eis - Ice cream, or ice, but in this case ice cream.)
Today was another day-long German class. We had to give presentations on Denkmals, or memorials. My memorial was Wallhalla. It's full of lots of busts of famous German people. I could give you a presentation about die Halle des Ehre, but it would be in German and you would be bored.
The class continues to be rather nonsensical, but fun. We debated which songs were best for Karaoke today. (Obviously Disney songs). At least we did go over how to identify the gender of nouns! German nouns all have genders (masculine, feminine, neutral) and you have to pick the appropriate article (a/the) depending on the gender. For the most part, you just have to memorize each noun's gender. Clouds are feminine, for example. But there are some general rules to help. (Words relating to rocks are masculine, apparently.)
That was more about German grammar than you probably wanted to know. :p
At last the class was over and we got to leave! A group of us had decided to go get ice cream at the Alexa mall at Alexander Platz. The particular place we went wasn't great, but it was nice to be out with everyone. Yeah, that's about all we did on Saturday. Whoo.
